Columbia Valley Jazz Blend Red
Created especially for University of Idaho's Lionel Hampton International Jazz Festival, this inter-vintage blend is composed of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Carmenere, 10% Malbec and 5% Petit Verdot. The Carmenere contributes a generous note of black pepper note and moderate tannins on the palette. Along with the Carmenere, the Malbec and Petit Verdot add complex layers of currant and spice. Aromas of deep plum and violets round out the nose. A lingering finish of spice and cassis completes the experience.
