In truth, every lot of wine we produce is truly a small-lot at Wawawai Canyon. At 1,000 cases per year, we're pretty far removed from the big guys in the industry. And that's alright with us. We like to keep things small...and keep are hands in and on everything we produce. What distinguishes these small-lots by definition is that these are often releases from just one or two barrels of wine (translation: about 20-40 cases or less in each lot). We hand select these barrels because they are wines of exceptional balance. They require little in the way of blending—often they have a unique characteristic we'd like to showcase.
We bring these wines to you because we love them. They are only available in our tasting room for the most part, and are offered exclusively to wine club members as pre-releases.
